We have blessings to share with you!



I am so thankful for many things this year...my family, a job that I love, and friends who care.  Truly I am very blessed!

  7. I helped out a colleague by combining one grade of her split grad class with my students for a Science unit at the beginning of the year, while she became familiar with the other grade's Science curriculum.

  20. My next door neighbor teacher had to leave unexpectedly and I took her kids with allergies since other we're worried about that responsibility. We had a great day and no one had a reaction. I was super careful about nuts and wiped everything down all the time. :)

  25. I helped pack and distribute food for our local food bank and I donated to a family in need. Sometimes, we forgot how blessed and lucky we are to have the life we have.

  26. We are buddied with a 5th grade class. Last week our students joined together to spread kindness to all our adults at our school. Each adult received a Ben's Bell, a letter of recognition from kids all around the school, and a special bookmark that the kids had created. The bookmark read, "Kind people are our kind of people." It was a nice way to teach the kids that even a small act of kindness can have a ripple effect around the school.

  30. I have a friend with preeclampsia who unexpectedly had to be 3 hours away from her home earlier than she was ready before baby arrives, so I helped paint her nursery and bought some smaller sized clothing for the baby.

  33. We drove our 5 Moms from MA to NYC as part of our swim team trip. We all couldn't fit on the bus so we decided to drive and asked some parents to join.

  34. Had just bought 2 Kentucky Fried Chicken meal boxes for our supper when I noticed a young man with a sign asking for donations. I had spent the last of my cash on our meals, but felt drawn to give the young man my meal, so I did so.

  35. This year, I participated in Operation XMAS child. I filled three shoe boxes of items and gifts that are sent to other countries to children. I also volunteer for toys for tots. I am thankful for my family and friends.

  37. Every shopping trip I do includes food or items for me to donate to various organizations in my area. At school, I buy popcorn every Friday for my kids that don't bring in money for it.

  43. Every time my husband and I go out to our favorite diner, we find an older couple and pick up their tab without them knowing. We always sit with the same waitress and she is wonderful about helping us do this, she is well taken care of as well.
